BigCommerce – product reviews not working?

I was working on template for a client, everything was going smooth and when we tested reviews. The review got successfully submitted. But when i checked inside admin panel, it was not present. What has gone wrong in it? Who will help me? I was afraid the BigCommerce team will say that its customized template and its outside the scope of support. But then i come to know about one more setting inside BigCommerce.

Just go to Admin -> Apps -> Comments -> Built-in, uncheck the “ ”

And everything started working fine.  So BigCommerce will only accept product reviews from their past customers who already purchased an item. If the account that you are using has not yet purchased any item on the store, your review will not be submitted.

Hope it will be helpful to you guys :)

Macaw:The code-savvy web design tool

Macaw, a “code-savvy web design tool”, enabling you to stop writing code and start drawing it instead. It isn’t the first tool of this type, but Macaw has lofty goals and is aiming to be truly relevant regarding modern web design workflow. The sneak-peek video shows it outputting tidy, well-defined code rather than ‘soup’. Macaw is also said to work with fluid canvases, responsive breakpoints and rich typography, along with offering reusable components and ‘morphing’ between wireframes and full-blown mock-ups.

The best feature of Macaw is its speed. You can speed up the design process by wireframing, prototyping and producing mock-ups all in the same application. You can even speed up simple tasks like alignment, using ‘nudge’ and ‘pudge’. You can speed up development by having an intelligent engine, helping you get exactly the code you need. The list goes on and on.macaw

“Noflo” Flow Based Programming for javascript

nofloNoFlo is a JavaScript implementation of Flow-Based Programming (FBP). Separating the control flow of software from the actual software logic. Helping you organize large applications easier than traditional OOP paradigms, especially when importing and modifying large data sets.

FBP itself is not a new idea: it comes from a term IBM used in the 70s to define the concepts of more manageable business workflows. NoFlo, however, refreshes these concepts and brings them to Node.js applications.

The MIT-licensed NoFlo library can either be used to run full flow-based applications or as a library for making complex workflows or asynchronous processes more manageable. It can also be used as an Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tool in business applications.

NoFlo has been written in CoffeeScript for simplicity.

KineticJS

kineticjsKineticJS is an HTML5 Canvas JavaScript library that extends the 2d context by enabling canvas interactivity for desktop and mobile applications. You can draw things onto the stage, add event listeners to them, move them, scale them, and rotate them independently from other shapes to support high performance animations, even if your application uses thousands of shapes. Served hot with a side of awesomeness.

Features

  • Object Oriented API
  • Node nesting and event bubbling
  • High performance event detection via color map hashing
  • Layering support
  • Node caching to improve draw performance
  • Nodes can be converted into data URLs, image data, or image objects
  • Animation support
  • Transition support

and many more..
